Cool Climate Renaissance.

In the mid 1980s Kevin McCarthy and Kathleen Quealy moved to the Mornington Peninsula to be part of the cool climate renaissance. Having worked as contract winemakers for a few years, it was a label of their own that liberated them. The need to make new styles of wine that will bring international recognition is being fulfilled.

The Region

This is the coolest, most maritime wine region in Australia. Because of the intimate valley folds, most of the 300 or so vineyards are very small and hand worked.

100% Mornington Peninsula

Making pure white wines that embody this great region; T'Gallant make an enchanting paradox of big, assertive white wines that are also very fine and elegant. The Pinot Noirs are naturally soft and sensual. Their concentration and integrity is due to restricted vineyard yields.

The Packaging

T'Gallant has won numerous international awards for label design. Ken Catos brief was to communicate our message of premium quality, spiced by innovation, daring and creativity. All his designs are representative of those ideas.

Cape Schanck

Cape Schank wines are blends of vineyards, varieties and regions. They are modern, stylish wines that offer great value.
