T’Gallant’s innovative hallmark event is the Mushroom
Hunt and Pinot Lunch.
The mushroom hunt was first held in 1998. Held at the winery and
surrounding countryside, the month of May is a celebration of the
joys of mushrooms and their perfect partnering to cool climate Pinots
of every colour.
Fungi expert, Cameron Russell, in conjunction with T’Gallant,
host educational mushroom hunts every Sunday throughout May. Visitors
learn about the mysteries of local fungi, how to hunt them safely
and how to prepare them. The mushroom lunch is complimented specifically
with Pinots.
