Pinot Noir 2003
dense, brooding Pinot perfume on the nose. Truly ripe black and red
berry fruit. Fine, delicate yet powerful. Wonderful length and intensity
with restraint… Picking dates from mid-March to mid-April over
some hot dry weeks that yielded ripe tannin. Yields in fact were naturally
low, 1-2 ton/acre and this assisted in the concentration of the wine.
2003 was a superb Pinot Noir vintage. $28 |
