The new Wolf Blass winery, opened in March 2000, represents the first stage of a 10-year development plan for the home of the legendary Wolf Blass wines. It was built with the capacity to process 20,000 tonnes in its first full vintage (2001) and was designed to allow for expansion up to 75,000 tonnes.

The perimeter and elevated surrounding the winery was landscaped including the establishment of a wood lot of some 4,500 native trees, with a total of 6,500 trees and shrubs being planted.
