Charles Hargrave, or “Chilly” as he is known throughout the winemaking fraternity, made his name as the winemaker at Ingoldby in McLaren Vale. Now as Group Sparkling Winemaker, Chilly has the chance to indulge his greatest passion - creating great Australian sparkling wine.

Major winemaking trophies/achievements/critical reviews:	Ingoldby Cabernet Sauvignon 1998 took out the Kemeny's Perpetual Trophy for the Best Value Dry Red Table Wine of the Competition, Year 2000 Sydney International Wine Competition
Hobbies/habits/quirks:	Has own six-acre vineyard in the Piccadilly Valley producing small quantity of Sparkling wine, Pinot and Merlot. Music fan - Puccini, Maria Callas and Judy Collins. Sports Fan - AFL Soccer and Cricket. Loves Food and Wine.
Goals:	Continued improvement in wine quality of all brands managed. Ultimate goal is to manage all Foster's European wine making operations.
